One-Litre F3 Achieves Biggest Grid Increase in 2023
The recently published Autosport Annual Club Review noted that Historic Formula 3 recorded a 47% grid increase from 2022 – the biggest increase of all the championships within the HSCC.
The Report stated, “…but the most notable improver was Historic F3. This mustered just 15 cars on average in 2022 but some massive grids – including 31 at Brands Hatch – helped boost its numbers by almost 50% this season as momentum builds ahead of next year’s 60th anniversary of the beginning of the one-litre F3 era”.
HSCC Chief Executive Officer Andy Dee-Crowne said: “We’ve seen the difference a major anniversary coming up can have and I do think the work the One-Litre F3 Historic Racing Association is doing will sustain that [growth]”.
